We support individuals, employers and organisations to overcome barriers, build confidence and create sustainable pathways into work, development and growth. Our approach is practical, relationship-based and rooted in the realities of rural Highland communities.

Supporting Individuals
We provide personalised, one-to-one and community-based support to help people move towards and into employment. This includes confidence building, job search, applications, CVs, interview preparation, access to training and ongoing progression support.

Supporting Employers
We work with employers to strengthen recruitment, retention and workforce development. This includes connecting employers with local people, supporting inclusive recruitment approaches and helping build sustainable workforce pipelines.

Supporting Organisations
We support third sector organisations, community groups and public sector partners through consultancy and delivery. This includes project development, service design, community engagement and organisational capacity building.
Our Approach
We understand that the Highlands present both opportunity and challenge. Rurality, distance, infrastructure and access can create barriers for individuals and organisations alike.
Our approach is:
1
Local
Rooted in communities and shaped by local need
2
Flexible
Adapting delivery to fit people and place
3
Practical
Focused on real outcomes, not just plans
4
Collaborative
working in partnership to maximise impact
Our experience
Highland Thrive is an organisation built on established experience.
Before launching Highland Thrive, we delivered employability and community-based services across the Highlands for more than five years. This included supporting individuals facing multiple barriers, working closely with employers and delivering programmes aligned to Highland Council priorities.
We are not only professionals working in the Highlands, we live here and are actively involved in our communities, including through volunteering and local initiatives. This gives us a genuine understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the people and places we support.
We now bring that experience into a dedicated Highland social enterprise, focused on long-term impact and locally driven solutions.
